INTRODUCTION
“Howdy Mitts” is a fingerless glove pattern. The main portion of the mitt is knitted flat in a combination of garter ridge stitch and stockinette stitch. You will work the increased for the palm with short row shaping. Finally you will seam up the mitts using an invisible horizontal seam. If you are not familiar with short row shaping, backwards loop cast on and seaming than these mitts are an excellent practice project. I did not include written out directions for each of those methods because the internet is flooded with wonderful tutorials already.
